General Statement

American Indian/Alaska Native Student Success Services is dedicated to the enrollment, achievement, and success of American Indian and Alaska Native students at Montana State University. AI/ANSSS, through a collaborative and nurturing philosophy, supports Native students and their families navigate the transition to Montana State University and the Bozeman community. The AI/ANSSS provides advocacy on behalf of Native students with the MSU faculty, staff, and programs while supporting Native student academic, social, personal, and cultural growth. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and supervise mentors and mentees for AI/AN student mentorship programs (Good Relations Learning Community), overseeing development and implementation of program activities and engagement opportunities

  • Develop, organize, plan and coordinate activities for AI/ANSSS, inclusive of annual Powwow facilitation.
