GIS Technician
The GIS Technician supports engineering and field operations by creating GIS-based designs, maintaining accurate geospatial records, and supporting safety and compliance initiatives for utility infrastructure. This role combines office-based mapping work with field data collection to help maintain reliable asset records and support construction, maintenance, and system improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities

+ Create GIS designs and cost estimates for main and service-related work.

+ Collect as-built field data using mobile GPS equipment to maintain accurate asset records.

+ Update GIS maps and attribute data to ensure records remain current and reliable.

+ Perform quality checks on GIS data before posting to production.

+ Support engineering, operations, and project teams with mapping and GIS information.
