**Description:**

**Position Summary**

The GI Lab Technician supports basic endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy and EGD, using video endoscopes and specialized equipment. This role assists physicians and registered nurses in patient care, specimen collection, room preparation, and endoscope reprocessing to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care for patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures.

**What You Will Do**

+ **Prepare and Maintain Procedure Rooms**
+ Set up and break down procedure rooms and equipment before and after each case
+ Clean and disinfect work surfaces in accordance with infection prevention standards
+ Consistently utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
+ **Assist During Endoscopic Procedures**
