The Wildfire Coordinator will drive wildfire management projects throughout British Columbia. Key responsibilities include implementing Community Wildfire Resiliency Plans and overseeing prescribed burning activities while ensuring compliance with regulations. You will collaborate with teams to strengthen community resilience and effectively communicate project updates.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage planning, execution, and tracking of wildfire projects
• Assist in developing Community Wildfire Resiliency Plans
• Help coordinate prescribed and industrial burn operations
• Maintain records for compliance and reporting
• Organize field team resources and schedules
Requirements:
• RPF or RFT designation preferred
