Geotechnical Engineer 1

CDM Smith is seeking an entry-level graduate to join our Geotechnical Engineering team in Fairfax!

Under direct supervision, supports geotechnical engineering work on a variety of civil infrastructure, geo-environmental, mining, dams, and levees projects. Performs engineering analyses and prepares design support documentation to meet project requirements and applicable standards. Reviews project data, specifications, calculations, and submittals for consistency with federal, state, and local requirements, as applicable. Ensures that firm policies, procedures, and quality practices are followed for assigned work. Supports geotechnical, hydrological, and geophysical site investigations, including review and reduction of field and laboratory data.
