GEOLOGIST, UNDERGROUND PRODUCTION

Job Overview

Reporting to the Underground Production Geology Coordinator, you will play an important role in performing geological practices to provide quality geological information to mine operations, maximize resource extraction, and support drill‑hole planning, mapping, core logging, sampling, 3‑D modelling, and QA/QC compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage tasks and projects as assigned by the Underground Production Geology Coordinator.
• Assist with the management of the underground delineation drilling program; ensure priorities and targets are reached and log drill core in a timely manner.
• Map, sample and digitize underground development in ore and waste.
• Ensure daily follow‑up of underground production activities.
• Assist with production geology activities so that files, maps and records are accurate, up to date and delivered on time.
