Geo Environmental Engineer

I am currently looking for an experienced Geo-environmental Engineer to join my client's Remediation & Construction Support division.

The successful candidate will be primarily involved in the supervision of remediation and earthworks projects, acting as a full‑time Resident Engineer where required.

My client is a successful consultancy operation across the North of England and they are looking to strengthen their team due to the business moving in a positive direction.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of remediation, earthworks and/or mine stabilisation projects
• In‑situ geotechnical testing (primarily plate load & CBR tests)
• Geotechnical analysis (bearing capacity, slope stability, working platform design etc.)
• Inspection of gas protection measures, particularly for new residential developments
• Soil cover validation & stockpile sampling
• Collection of surface water samples, including use of field monitori...
