General Technician Workshops

Overview

As a General Technician (Workshops) you will manufacture and repair parts for aircraft, vehicles and specialist equipment. You will be working in specifically equipped workshops and aircraft maintenance hangers. You will use manual and computer operated machinery like drilling, milling, cutting and forming equipment, and manufacture or modify aircraft parts to strict standards and consult with Aircraft Technicians on the best methods of component removal and fitting.

• After Technical Training £27,200 + Benefits

Qualifications you need

• You need a minimum of GCSE Grade 4 (C) or equivalent in English Language, Mathematics and an approved Science/Technology-based subject.
