General Technician

Key Responsibilities 1. Maintenance & Repair Perform routine preventive maintenance on rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, generators, turbines) and stationary equipment (valves, pipelines, pressure vessels). Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures and execute corrective actions. Assist in the overhaul and installation of new machinery and components. Conduct inspections to detect issues such as leaks, corrosion, or unusual wear patterns. 2. Operational Support Monitor control panels, gauges, and instruments to ensure equipment is operating within specified parameters. Support drilling and workover operations by maintaining deck machinery and rig equipment. Isolate equipment (Lock-Out/Tag-Out) for maintenance and assist in recommissioning after repairs. 3. Safety & Compliance Strictly adhere to Permit to Work (PTW) systems and safety protocols. Participate in Toolbox Talks, safety meetings, and emergency response drills.
