General Surgery Physician

This facility is seeking a General Surgery Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 24-Hour On Call Monday 7AM-untill following Monday 7AM, Approximately 1 week every month
• Types of Cases:
  • Standard general surgery procedures: (Cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernias robotics available)
  • Acute care cases: (Bowel obstruction, perforated ulcer, volvulus, etc.)
  • Trauma: (Splenectomy, bowel resection/repair, chest tubes, lines)
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90-days
• Certifications Required: Must be Board Certified in American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) within 3 years of residency, must have Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support...
