General Surgeon

Providence Saint John’s Health Center is seeking a fellowship-trained Surgical Oncologist/General Surgeon to join a collaborative team delivering high-acuity cancer and general surgery care with an emphasis on minimally invasive techniques and innovation. The role offers a mix of clinic, surgery, and research, supported by a strong care team infrastructure and close alignment with Saint John’s Cancer Institute.
**Position Details:**
* Board-Certified in General Surgery and fellowship trained in Society of Surgical Oncology (or equivalent)
* Requires GME faculty member for 2 or more years
* Develop and maintain an efficient clinical practice
* Preference in GI focus: HPB, Gastric, Colorectal
* Pathway for advancement into a Program Director position within approximately 2 years
* Participate in a role that blends clinic, surgeries, and education research
