General Supervisor

• Grade 12 (Matric) essential.
• Trade qualification (Boilermaker, Fitter & Turner, or similar) advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a steel service centre or steel processing environment.
• 23 years supervisory experience.
• Practical exposure to: hi-def plasma cutting, laser cutting, bending / press brake operations (beneficial).

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of steel grades, tolerances, and processing requirements.
• Basic production planning and reporting computer literacy (ERP systems, Excel basic).
• Complete daily production and shift reports.
• Record downtime, scrap, and rework.
• Communicate production performance and issues to management.
• Enforce compliance with the OHS Act and company safety procedures.
