**Job Title: Shop Floater – 1st and 2nd Shift**

**Job Description**

This role operates grinding and polishing equipment to produce high-quality metal components to precise specifications. You will inspect machinery and workpieces, perform basic maintenance and repairs, and ensure all finished products meet quality standards while working in a modern, climate-controlled facility on a 1st shift schedule.

**Responsibilities**

+ Inspect machinery and workpieces regularly to ensure they comply with specifications and to reduce malfunctions and production losses.
+ Dress grinding wheels according to specifications so machines operate at peak performance.
+ Stop machines immediately when you discover a problem and make necessary adjustments as quickly as possible to minimize downtime.
+ Provide quality control by inspecting workpieces as they come out of the equipment and removing any defective pieces.
