An opportunity has arisen within Scottish Government funded post within Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland) for a 0.6 FTE General Practitioner (GP) as a professional advisor to provide policy and practice support to further develop effective and sustainable prescribing across the NHS in Scotland. The post will be based within PSD Scotland and will take direction from the Effective Prescribing and Therapeutics team in Scottish Government. Public Services Delivery Scotland will host this post.

The Effective Prescribing & Therapeutics team consists of both Civil Servants and clinical experts. It exists is ensure delivery of safe and effective prescribing and use of medicines, within NHS Scotland.
