**Paint Line Prep Laborer**

**Overview**

Prepare metal parts for painting by grinding, sanding, cleaning, and racking. This role supports the paint line and offers growth into an industrial painter position.

**What You’ll Do**

+ Grind and sand metal parts to create smooth, paint-ready surfaces
+ Deburr edges and remove imperfections
+ Wash and clean parts before painting
+ Rack parts onto the paint line in the correct order
+ Tape and mask areas that should not be painted
+ Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards
+ Keep your work area clean and organized
+ Work with the paint team to keep production moving

**What You Need**

+ 1+ year of manufacturing or production experience (paint line preferred)
+ Experience with grinders, sanding, or hand tools
+ Ability to lift 30–50 lbs (most parts lighter)
+ Comfortable standing for full shifts and doing repetitive work
