**Description**

**General Summary:**

Performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge (but no proficiency) in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry and electrical work.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Perform general maintenance and repair of hospital facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
+ Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify and resolve issues proactively.
+ Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations.
+ Maintain hospital grounds, including minor landscaping, exterior upkeep, and snow removal.
+ Assist in installation, relocation, and assembly of equipment and furniture.
+ Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, infection control standards, and government contract requirements.
