General Maintenance Technician

**Responsibilities:**

+ Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair overhead/roll up doors, gates, and gate arms.

+ Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair loading dock levelers, dock plates, and dock restraints.

+ Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and perform required preventive maintenance actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc.

+ Replace motors, bearings, sheaves, shafts, etc.

+ Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems control and operating systems as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

+ Communicate non-compliance concerns to ensure corrective actions have taken place.

+ Respond and provide service and feedback to the customer on all work orders while assuring compliance to codes, regulations and industry standards.

+ Recommend measures to improve maintenance methods and equipment performance.
