General Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary Under the supervision of the General Supervisor, the incumbent supervises a crew of mechanics, carpenters, and laborers to ensure a safe, efficient and productive work environment. Essential Functions Assign crews and equipment to specific tasks to meet daily maintenance goals and ensure that the area is safe for employees to work. Supervise crew activities during shifts to ensure safe and efficient completion of assignments. Develop crew skills to levels of maximum efficiency and safety. Work with the General Maintenance Planner to ensure that all parts, special tools and equipment necessary to complete the planned work are available and accounted for before the job begins. Coordinate with Mine Personnel and Ancillary Personnel on repairs and maintenance to be completed.
