General Ledger Accounting Supervisor

Purpose:

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for a team performing various accounting functions mainly focused on Fixed Assets and General Ledger. The incumbent is tasked to perform detailed review of staff’s work, provide coaching, and direct the team to meet deadlines and deliver required output. He/she also directly handles General Ledger and Statutory/Regulatory compliance for the assigned entities.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from a reputable college or university.
• Minimum of (5) years combined work experience in accounts payable, general accounting, and/or audit.
• Must have supervisory experience or an experienced accountant with strong leadership potential.
• Skilled in using any accounting software/application; Proficient in MS Excel.
• Fluent in English – as used in effective verbal and written communications
