General Labourer

12 Month Contract With A local Authority Job Purpose To support the delivery of void property works by carrying out cleaning, clearance, and general labouring duties within empty residential and commercial properties. The postholder will assist trade operatives and contractors in preparing properties for refurbishment, repair, and reoccupation, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards. Key Responsibilities Clear and clean vacant properties in preparation for refurbishment, repair, or re-letting. Remove furniture, household items, waste, debris, and other unwanted materials from void properties. Undertake general labouring duties to support building maintenance and repair activities. Assist skilled tradespeople with construction, maintenance, and refurbishment works as required. Load, unload, move, and store materials, tools, and equipment safely.
