Summary of Position:

Perform tasks involving physical labor with heavy construction projects or shop duties. May operate a variety of hand and power tools. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, and remove waste materials. May assist operators.

Duties & Responsibilities:


+ Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy/highway construction projects and/or oilfield projects.

+ Perform manual work in preparing surfaces, ditches, culverts or other areas.

+ Shovel dirt within construction area as defined by grade fill specifications given by foreman/operator.

+ Maintain a clean job site; pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.

+ Load and unload material manually, haul and hoist materials (pipe, box culverts, supplies).
