Job Description

Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is looking for General Laborers for our client in Binghamton, NY. In this position, you will be responsible for safely pouring, forming and finishing surfaces of poured concrete forms using hand tools or power tools including floats, trowels and screeds.Responsibilities
  • Safely and properly spread concrete into sections of forms using rake or shovel.
  • Levels concrete to specified depth and workable consistency.
  • Remove rough or defective spots from concrete and patch holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound.
  • Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with people under high stress situations.
  • Assist with material handling and job site cleanup.
  • Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety procedures
  • Other duties as assigned.
