General Helper

We are currently hiring General Helpers for Furnace Operators. Job Duties and Expectations Include: Follows work instructions to perform tasks safely and consistent Work in all areas of the furnace Starts with basic training on casting operations Minimizes losses throughout process Job duties require lifting up to 50 pounds Monitor the operation of gauges dials or other indicators to make sure the machine is working properly Will use cranes, forklifts and other material moving equipment Physical work in warm areas. Good communication skills, mechanical aptitude are plus, problem solving skills is a plus, adaptability to various working conditions, and working in a team. Schedule works 12 hour rotating shifts, 14 shifts per month with every month 7 consecutive days off (1 week off every month).
