The primary purpose of this position is this position is a systems engineer and program manager who uses his/her engineering and program management expertise in support of the acquisition and fielding highly complex and advanced sensors and sensor systems for warfighter and national users. Responsibilities DUTY 1. Plans and perform system acquisition management activities for specialized sensors and sensor systems. i.e. acquisition and support; integration of engineering disciplines; quality, testing and evaluation; Programmatic activities, procurement and production, initial sensor fielding logistics maintenance aspects to support the organization's acquisition requirements; and support the transition of the acquisition to the warfighter or other user.
