General Engineer

Summary This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the Facilities Division WCF. As a General Engineer, you will be responsible for activities that ensure WCF is in compliance with all Federal, State of Texas, and local applicable environmental regulations and environmental permits. Responsibilities As a General Engineer, you will: - Employ ingenuity, reason, and logic to maximize the benefit to the BEP for use of limited resources for construction and operation; and provide technical and professional assistance to management and contract A/E firms. - Be responsible for guidance and coordination of various disciplines in complex design development of plans from conception through completion for projects, renovations, and expansions of the WCF. - Review production processes that must be controlled by air pollution control devices and production support processes such as wastewater treatment or water wipe production.
