gate- Machinist level 1

This position is primarily responsible of machining all gates from the casting.
When casting is received from pre-inspection, visual check if all sell material has been removed, validates router.
+ Uses conventional milling machine to machine all gates from the casting as per requirements.
+ Uses required fixturing for the specific castings and inspects fixtures for damage and compliance.
+ Performs other duties as required.
+ Respects the values and code of ethics of the company.
+ Respects the Environment, Health & Safety programs of the company.
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
+ Ability to use measuring instruments.
+ Ability to use a conventional milling machine
+ Ability to handle hoists
+ Visual dexterity
+ Manual dexterity
+ Physical standing all day
+ Uses sound judgment

High School Diploma or equivalent machining training
