Gasfitter, Class A Journeyperson

Position Overview

ACSI is seeking an experienced Gasfitter – Class A to join our industrial team to support project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining gas meters, regulators, gas lines, and gas appliances.
• Testing and replacing defective equipment.
• Measuring, cutting, threading, and assembling pipe using tools such as pipe cutters, pipe threading machines, and pipe vices.
• Attending to gas‑escape calls and assisting in the investigation of gas fires and explosions.
• Preparing work reports.
• Reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints.
• Journeyperson responsibilities: mentoring apprentices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Experience

• Valid Provincial Journeyperson Certification or currently indentured into a provincial apprenticeship program.
