Gas Fitter

As a Gasfitter , you will be responsible for the installation, repair, testing, and maintenance of gas supply systems, appliances, and equipment. This role spans residential, commercial, and industrial settings, ensuring all installations operate safely and efficiently in accordance with New Zealand regulations and PGDB requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• System Installation: Install, alter, and repair high- and low-pressure gas supply lines, meters, regulators, and cylinders.
• Appliance Commissioning: Connect and commission gas appliances like water heaters, cooktops, boilers, and space heaters according to manufacturer specifications.
• Testing & Certification: Conduct pressure and leak tests to verify system integrity and issue required Gas Certificates of Compliance (CoC) and Gas Safety Certificates.
