We're hiring two Galvanisers .

Location: 129 Hutt Park Road, Gracefield, Lower Hutt 5010

About The Role

This is a full-process, hands‑on manual labour role in an industrial setting. You'll work across all stages of galvanising.

• Preparing steel in the black end (segregating and handling contaminated items)
• Maintaining acid baths for effective pickling
• Safely dipping steel into the molten zinc kettle, and finishing on the white end (inspecting, fettling to remove excess zinc, packing, and stacking job lots safely)

Expect a physically demanding environment with heat, chemicals, and heavy lifting. Safety is non‑negotiable, and you'll keep areas clear of hazards, assist customers when required, and communicate proactively to maintain quality, efficiency, and smooth operations. Comprehensive on‑the‑job training is provided to get you up to speed.
