Furniture Design Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Furniture Design Intern to support our design team in developing trend-forward and commercially viable furniture collections for retail stores and e-commerce platforms. The intern will assist in concept development, market research, 3D visualization, and coordination with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing furniture concepts for living, dining, bedroom, and storage categories
• Research international and domestic furniture trends, materials, finishes, and consumer preferences
• Support in creating mood boards, sketches, technical drawings, and presentations
• Work on 3D modeling and rendering using tools like SketchUp, Rhino, Blender, or AutoCAD
• Coordinate with sourcing, merchandising, and visual merchandising teams
• Assist in sample development and product documentation
