Our client, a renowned global investment firm in Burnaby, British Columbia, is seeking a Fund Accountant. This role is vital in managing fund integrity and internal stakeholder communication.
As a key member of the operations team, you'll require your CPA designation and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Your responsibilities will encompass fund accounting functions, financial statement preparation, and working alongside tech teams to enhance workflows and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage fund accounting and calculate net asset values (NAV)
• Direct communications with external custodians and administrators
• Oversee preparation of annual and semi-annual financial statements
• Lead workflow initiatives and launch new investment products
• Respond to stakeholder inquiries regarding fund matters
