About the role:

We are looking to recruit a full-time Life Skills Teacher to support permanently at a Spalding‑based specialist provision supports young people who require an alternative pathway to mainstream education, with a strong focus on Functional Skills, personal development and preparing learners for adulthood.

This role has an immediate start and is likely to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adapt teaching materials and approaches to support learners who may have SEMH needs, gaps in prior learning or additional SEND requirements.
• Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages participation, builds confidence and celebrates small, achievable progress steps.
• Work with small groups or individual learners to provide targeted intervention, ensuring students can access and achieve accredited Functional Skills outcomes.
