Functional Skills Tutor – English and Maths

At Prospero Teaching, we partner with Local Councils, schools and SEND teams through the UK. We aim to help young people who are not currently accessing full time education to be paired with tutors in either 1 on 1 or small group settings, to provide the students access to the best tailor-made plans that will help them achieve their full potential.
We pride ourselves on building a community of dedicated tutors, who are motivated to deliver the highest quality education to students.

We currently have a high demand for functional skills tutors in Gateshead who can support children who are not currently accessing full time education due to Permanent or temporary exclusion, in their functional skills – Maths and English.

These students require a patient and adaptable approach to tutoring that will help them overcome their barriers to learning.
