Full-Time Teaching Assistant

We areseeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and flexible TeachingAssistant full time over 39 weeks.

• Supportingthe class teacher with their responsibility for the development andeducation of children in schools, which will involve working 1to1 with pupilswith special needs.
• To assistan individual teacher, or teachers, in delivering and evaluating programmes andadapting teaching materials to suit the particular requirements of individualpupils and groups.
• To assistin meeting the pupils’ need for encouragement, reassurance and comfort andattend to their personal requirements and physical care while encouragingindependence at all times.
• The individual will have specialisttraining/experience to support their lead role/intervention and provide a levelof support for individual pupils/groups of pupils whose needs require supportover and above that which a level one Teaching Assistant is expected toprovide.
