Bard High School Early College (BHSEC) Manhattan invites applications for a full-time faculty position teaching chemistry to begin in September 2026. We seek teacher-scientists who are creative in engaging students, and dedicated to working with adolescents. More information about BHSEC is available here:https://bhsec.bard.edu/manhattan

Successful applicants will have college teaching experience, will hold a Ph.D. or Master's in Chemistry or a related field, and will be skilled educators interested in engaging and challenging early college students. They will work collaboratively with colleagues in developing and teaching an innovative curriculum. Candidates should be prepared to teach Chemistry at multiple levels, including college survey courses and high school courses. The teaching load is generally three courses, each with a laboratory component.
