Full-Time Campus Safety Officer

Job Description:

Responsible for performing activities to ensure the safety and security of all personnel, students, guests, and facilities on campus and to enforce University rules and regulations and assist Campus Police in the enforcement of applicable laws to include local, state, and federal statutes. Employees in this classification are required to maintain flexible work schedules in order to accommodate weekends, evenings, and holiday shifts. Overtime work may also occur. Employees may experience hazardous or dangerous situations in the course of their work.

Position Summary:

Responsible for monitoring all vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering or leaving the campus. Ensures the safety and security of all personnel, students, guests, and facilities on campus.
