Job Overview

Work Term: Permanent. Work Language: English. Hours: 80 hours bi-weekly. Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Professionalism in customer service
• Load and unload goods
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Transport and handle dangerous goods

Required Licences and Certifications

• Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
• Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
