Contract Frontend Engineer (React / TypeScript)

Initial 3-month contract, strong likelihood of extension

Rate: up to £600 per day (inside IR35)

Location: Leeds, 2 days per week on-site

A large, well-established digital and media platform is looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to support the delivery of customer-facing products used at scale. You will be joining a mature engineering environment with a strong focus on quality, collaboration, and modern engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-performance web applications using React and TypeScript
• Work closely with backend teams operating a microservices architecture
• Write clean, well-tested code, following TDD principles
• Contribute to design decisions and technical discussions within the team
• Support deployments and ongoing improvements in a Kubernetes-based environment
