Join Sopra Steria as a Freelance IT Systems Engineer in Ottawa, focusing on cybersecurity solutions and client support. This short-term engagement transitions to L1 support over three years.
This contractor role offers an opportunity to work with Sopra Steria's Cyber Range deployment at a federal site. Over the first month, you will receive training on platform architecture and troubleshooting. You will then serve as the primary on-site contact for technical inquiries and support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete installation and setup of Cyber Range solutions
• Act as the first line of support for technical issues
• Perform incident triage and basic troubleshooting tasks
• Coordinate with remote L2/L3 teams as needed
• Conduct health checks to maintain system integrity
Requirements:
• Valid Government of Canada Top Secret clearance
• 5 years or more in IT engineering roles
