Responsibilities of the FRA Carpenter Role:

Key Responsibilities

As an FRA Carpenter, you will be responsible for:

Installation and Maintenance of Fire Doors
Install and maintain fire doors according to fire safety regulations (e.g., BS 476, BS 9999).
Ensure correct installation of fire-rated door hardware (locks, hinges, closers).
Apply intumescent strips and fire seals to doors and frames.
Remedial and Upgrade Work
Retrofit and upgrade existing fire doors to meet current fire resistance standards.
