Founding Security Engineer

We are looking for a Founding Security Engineer to own and scale security across ZOOP’s Web2 and Web3 platforms as the company grows rapidly. This role will secure our AWS based serverless infrastructure, applications, CI/CD pipelines, and third party integrations while keeping engineering velocity high.

What you will do:

•⁠  ⁠Secure AWS infrastructure including IAM, RDS, networking, secrets, and Terraform

•⁠  ⁠Improve security of a Serverless Lambda backend and API architecture

•⁠  ⁠Strengthen application security across React, React Native, and APIs

•⁠  ⁠Embed security into CI/CD pipelines including CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and Amplify

•⁠  ⁠Own logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes

•⁠  ⁠Review third party vendors including payments, KYC, wallets, analytics, and infrastructure tools

•⁠  ⁠Support compliance readiness such as SOC 2 and GDPR and assist with customer security reviews
