Formulation Technician

Job Title: Formulation Technician
Location: Orangeburg, NY
Type: Contract
Compensation: $21.00 to $24.00
Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm

Responsibilities

Maintain production area in a clean and orderly manner consistent with GMP standards
Handle Biological Materials and Hazardous materials safely
Perform tank clean out, sterilization, and maintenance
Prepare glassware, filters, and other production materials necessary for production runs
Follow production schedules for manufacturing processes
Understand and adhere to quality procedures
Operate equipment such as centrifuges, filtration units, pH meters, balances, and mixers
Utilize SAP or other enterprise management software (preferred)
Requirements

AS or BS degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences, or high school diploma with 3-4 years of relevant experience
Formulations experience with Liquid or solid formulations
