Formulation Technician

Job Title: Formulation Technician
Location: Orangeburg, NY
Type: Contract
Compensation: $21.00 to $24.00
Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm

Responsibilities


+ Maintain production area in a clean and orderly manner consistent with GMP standards

+ Handle Biological Materials and Hazardous materials safely

+ Perform tank clean out, sterilization, and maintenance

+ Prepare glassware, filters, and other production materials necessary for production runs

+ Follow production schedules for manufacturing processes

+ Understand and adhere to quality procedures

+ Operate equipment such as centrifuges, filtration units, pH meters, balances, and mixers

+ Utilize SAP or other enterprise management software (preferred)

+ AS or BS degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences, or high school diploma with 3-4 years of relevant experience
