Job Description
**Waste Connections** is searching for our next All-Star **Forklift** **Operator** to join us at our **West Van Materials Recovery Center** (6601 NW Old Lower River Rd, Vancouver, WA 98660).
Starting rate of pay is **$29.00/HR**
Schedule is **TUESDAY- SATURDAY**
Shift is **10 AM- 6:30 PM** (or until close/last truck out). Overtime often.
Safety Sensitive: **YES**
Qualified candidates must have **Forklift** operating experience.
+ **REQUIRES** ability to efficiently & safely operate **Forklift.**
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Operate forklift or other equipment as needed.
+ Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
+ Completes daily reports on pre and post trip inspections of equipment.
+ Yard and facility maintenance including debris and clean up.
+ Spotting Trucks.
