Forklift Operator (Norton Shores, MI, US)

JOB OVERVIEW: A Forklift Operator works with shipping/receiving & production teams to facilitate the efficient movement of inventory within our facilities. Forklift drivers must prioritize safety by prioritizing proper lifting and operating techniques and adhering to warehouse regulations. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform daily stage setup. Perform daily and weekly forklift and pallet wrapper inspection(s). Verify BOL’s. Load/Unload inbound and outbound shipments. Transport inventory between departments to ensure smooth production operations with minimal downtime. Maintain First in First out inventory process. Complete all necessary forms such as Receiving Forms. Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area. Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
