Forklift Operator

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator/Laborer to join our team at our salt packaging facility. This role involves operating forklifts to move materials, assisting with packaging operations, and performing general labor tasks to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts to transport raw salt, packaged goods, and other materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
• Assist in the packaging of salt products, including weighing, sealing, labeling, and palletizing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Perform manual lifting and handling of materials as required.
