**Job Description**

This outdoor forklift operator role takes place in a busy lumber yard environment where you will work in all weather conditions, similar to construction, roofing, or landscaping settings. You will primarily operate a sit-down propane forklift to handle materials such as wood flooring, wood decking up to 20 feet long, and PVC trimming, while supporting efficient loading and material flow throughout the yard.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate a sit-down propane forklift safely and efficiently throughout the lumber yard.
+ Work from pick sheets to identify, locate, and pick the correct materials for each order.
+ Handle and move materials such as wood flooring, wood decking up to 20 feet long, and PVC trimming.
+ Prepare and stage loads accurately on flatbed trucks for delivery or shipment.
+ Perform general material handling tasks, including loading and unloading materials.
