**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Forklift Operator to join our team in a dynamic cross-dock facility. This role involves loading and unloading trailers, using a handheld scanner, and ensuring the seamless movement of freight within the dock. The position requires a proactive individual who can efficiently organize and manage tasks while adhering to directions from dispatchers.

**Responsibilities**

+ Load outbound trailers efficiently and accurately.
+ Unload inbound trailers and handle loose boxes as needed.
+ Load city trailers in order with proper freight counts.
+ Unload city trailers, confirm freight counts, cube freight, and place in the correct location.
+ Utilize a handheld scanner for inventory management.
+ Follow directions from dispatchers and maintain dock cleanliness.
+ Conduct pre-trip inspections on forklifts before each use.
