Be a crucial part of Carpenter Co.'s Toronto manufacturing team as a Shipper. Safely manage material transportation and operate equipment in a dynamic production environment.
As a Shipper, you will ensure the seamless movement of products while operating forklifts and handling various materials. This role invites candidates with a willingness to learn and adapt while performing essential labor duties in safety-sensitive conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle customer order materials efficiently
• Safely operate clamp/forklift inside plant
• Operate squeeze trailers and unload materials
• Move rolls between shipping dock and trailers
• Scan labels accurately using RF Scanner
Requirements:
• Ability to operate a forklift/clamp truck
• No experience necessary; prior experience is a plus
• Comfortable lifting 20 – 40 lbs.
• General understanding of PPE usage
• Strong organizational skills are preferred
