An inclusive mainstream primary school in Bootle is seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to support children within an EYFS setting, including outdoor learning in a forest school environment. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting young children through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences.
The Role
• Support teaching and learning within an EYFS classroom and forest school provision
• Work 1:1 and with small groups, adapting support to meet individual needs
• Assist in delivering play-based and outdoor learning activities
• Support children’s communication, social development, and early learning skills
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment, both indoors and outdoors
• Support daily routines, including transitions and outdoor sessions
